*In 146 b.c., Spartacus started the Slave War/Rebellion, being a slave himself. Spartacus was trying to lead his army out of Italy and into Gaul, but his followers were against it and drove him to go back south. His role was trying to lead his army/group into rebellion against rich people owning slaves, or any kind of other slavery.
Why should future students learn about this individual?

*Students, I think, should learn about him in the future because Spartacus tried rebelling or stopping slavery (but was unsuccessful). It doesn't matter though, because if we didn't have him or other people that tried ending slavery or actually did, today we'd be enslaved, between the colored, their race, thoughts, or how wealthy they were.
